DÉJÀ VU, THE PROJECTOR STORY

“Déjà vu, The Projector Story”

Photography, Giclée fine artprint,
2015-2016

A curtain in Paris let my mind walk through a movie projector from Malmoes first cinema in the 20's to an old curtain in the grandmother's apartment in 1989. My memory commute back and forth and lands like a Déjà vu in the middle of 2016.

I use my camera as a third eye investigating the immediate surroundings, the time and space. By opening the field of view between light and darkness, between the ugly and the beautiful the boundary between now and then are blurring and a new unexplained time is put in focus.
