I use the camera as a third eye investigating the surroundings, the time and space. By opening the field of view between light and darkness, between the ugly and the beautiful, the boundary between now and then are blurring and a new unexplained time is put in focus.
By focusing on just the intersection between these extremes, I would try to widen gaze and see what otherwise often remains unseen.
Usually, I find the motives in my everyday life, in stories and history, I dig and look in arkivs and unexpected places.
Then for many years. I work with photography, often in a combination with texts and in a context of visually consistent surveying. My photographies or picture animations are in a context of concept and poetry either in picture suites, films or installations. Very often I focus on the light or the absence of light and on what you can see in almost total darkness. Always with the existential questions about where we come from and where we are heading in my mind.
